Living in New York City in 2020. Keeping some little healthy happy secrets. Dreaming of love, acceptance, and a world without sexism. Battling anxiety. Choosing the people you call family. These are only some of the themes in Much More Than a Thought, a collection of short stories, poems, journal entries, and hybrid pieces written by students at the High School of Fashion Industries. Throughout the school year, students worked on a variety of creative writing projects, and now, finally, the best of their work is in your hands. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefit 826NYC, a nonprofit organization encouraging the exploration of endless possibilities through the power of writing.
