Accessibility
826NYC is committed to creating a space accessible to all students, volunteers, staff, and visitors regardless of ability or disability. Our Park Slope writing center is positioned at ground level and equipped with major doorways at least 35 inches wide, as well as an accessible bathroom. We currently require that everyone wear a face mask covering both their mouth and nose in our writing center.
The nearest accessible subway station is Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, which services the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. The B63 bus is also accessible and travels from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to our front door. Other accessible bus lines that come within four blocks of our writing center are the B37, B61, B67, and B69.
We are happy to offer accommodations within our capability as a space and organization and ask that you email info@826nyc.org with any requests or questions.
