Over 70 of 826NYC’s talented students have contributed to Maybe in Ten Years, a book that captures the past, present, and future in the way only a young author from Brooklyn can. This chapbook is a collection of stories, poems, and essays by students in 826NYC’s After School Tutoring & Writing program in our Park Slope and Williamsburg locations. Young writers from ages 6 - 18 created stories where they meet their future selves, George Washington racks up a $20,000 tab at the Marcy Ave McDonald’s, and pizza falls from the sky. Maybe in Ten Years is the perfect antidote to any ailment, written by Brooklyn’s most creative and curious young authors.
