We’re happy to announce the election of Margi Conklin to the 826NYC Board of Directors!
Margi Conklin is an editor who has led teams of journalists on both sides of the Atlantic: at magazines and newspapers, tabloids and broadsheets, legacy media and startups. Even after decades of assigning and editing (possibly millions of) pieces, she still has a deep passion for storytelling and an insatiable curiosity. When chatting with her, don’t be surprised if she asks you so many questions that she convinces you to write a story about your own life! Currently the US Director of Content at The Times (of London—but based in NYC), she splits her time between Manhattan and New Paltz with her husband, the novelist Christopher J Yates.
