What is your favorite thing you’ve written recently? Tell us a bit about it!
My favorite thing that I’ve written recently is a play titled “The Phase” which I wrote with my friend during Get into Character: Theater & Playwriting week. The play was about two girls at a school that became friends. During lunch they ate a pickle on a stick that turned them into aliens. They had to work together to figure out how to become humans again. This play showed what true teamwork and friendship is about.
What are three words you would use to describe 826NYC? How would you describe 826NYC?
Three words that I would use to describe 826NYC are: Creative, Supportive, Awesome
If someone was considering joining 826NYC, what would you tell them?
If someone were considering joining I would tell them that 826NYC is a really great place. It helps you bring out the creativity in your stories. If you’re a person that already enjoys reading, writing, and learning, 826 NYC will not only help you continue to enjoy it, but it will also help you create new ideas and bring your writing to life.

My 1st year at Summer Camp at 826NYC
When words were often unspoken, peace filled the air. It was simply beautiful. The world with my peers outside of 826NYC is often uncommon for me. When the 3weeks came to an end I felt a little sad. I really enjoyed learning and spending time with my friends. We all helped and supported each other. Everyday was a new adventure and I was able to be myself at 826NYC. Camp was so much fun. I can’t wait until next year! Until then…
