From Leslie:
What makes a person? And what holds more weight—one’s individual spirit or one’s environment? Are people any more than a collection of their experiences? Their choices? Their desires? Is there any such thing as destiny?
Prompt 1:
Write a letter to your younger self. Maybe impart some wisdom you wish you’d had at the time—three years ago, five years ago, eight years ago… you choose. Alternatively, you can create a fictional character, and write a letter as if you were that individual.
Prompt 2:
If you were to make a time capsule, to best represent this year, what would go in it? Choose five or ten things. List them and discuss why they are significant to you.
