PROMPT 1: Write about your obsession.
Most of us are obsessed with something, whether it is a type of food, a movie, a TV show, a city, a person, a place, a feeling… it can be anything! Write about that thing, your obsession, and explain why you are obsessed with it. What about it consumes your focus? How would you explain it to someone else? Write something that might make other people obsessed with it, too.
PROMPT 2: Write about your first memory.
Memories often deceive us—what happened in our memory may not have happened exactly that way in real life. But for this exercise, write about how you remember your first memory. Where were you? Who else was there? What does it look, smell, taste, or feel like? How do you reflect on that moment now?
