Moondrop

PUBLISHED:

There was a land full of grass
And the sky above the grass
With little me in between
As I stare at the moon,
Falling in and out of consciousness
I wonder how long
This peace will last
Closing my eyes, I was unaware
That the moon was melting,
Melting until a droplet falls
The droplet travels through the sky,
Shining as bright as ever
Landing eloquently on my cheek
It acts as a nourishment,
Filling me with life and serenity
And bringing a smile on my tired face
