Say hello to the summer interns from 826NYC’s Teen Writers’ Collective! Over the next six weeks they’ll support our summer workshops, participate in professional development, and create captivating capstone projects (and get paid doing it!). Zee Rosado (she/her) has been attending workshops at 826NYC since she was young, and now has completed her second year of the Teen Writers Collective, leading to her join as an intern. Prior to this internship, Zee has worked at the Lower East Side Girls Club, and continued to help them throughout her freshman year. She currently attends the High School of Art & Design, and will be majoring in graphic design her sophomore year. She enjoys reading romance novels instead of cleaning her room, or reading something productive for school. |

Triniti Gamble (she/her) found out about the Teen Writers Collective workshops in early fall of 2024 through her mother, as well as educational mentors at her school, and after deciding to give it a try she found every meeting enjoyable, as well as equally engaging. Outside of 826NYC, Triniti currently attends Gramercy Arts High School, which is located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and is a senior majoring in the visual art. Outside of school, Triniti participated in the Hunter College Summer Bridge program in Spring of 2024 and 2025, and attended the FBI Youth Academy during the summer of 2023. During her free time, Triniti enjoys doing visual art, reading both digital and traditional books, playing volleyball, and playing video games. |

Shamsun Tiba (she/her) is an 18-year old who graduated from Academy for Young Writers and is going to be attending St. Lawrence University. She found out about 826NYC in her freshman year of high school and has attended the writing workshops since then. Throughout her high school years, she spent her time working in internships and participating in Teen Writer’s Collective. In college, she will be majoring in Performing Arts and Creative Writing. She is also anemic and zones out an unhealthy amount, but is passionate about music, dancing, and performing on stage. However, she has way too many hobbies and creative ideas; you’ll see her writing, crocheting, sewing, or crafting something stupidly interesting. Well, she does have a strange mind. |

Samuel Wang (he/him) is a current summer intern at 826NYC. After participating in Teen Writers’ Collective for 3 years, he joined the program’s internship and hasn’t looked back since. He previously worked on UNBOUND, the latest 826National Anthology, and for two years has participated in the creation of different anthologies, curated from young authors around the world. He enjoys playing with his cat Nugget and playing games when he doesn’t have anything else to do (or when he procrastinates and acts like there aren’t 9 assignments due). |

Ricardo Fernández (he/him) has been with 826NYC for around 5 years. Around 5 years ago, he was begging his mother to not go but he has gotten more and more attached to 826. He attends Pace High School with a 3.8 GPA and education is really important to him. He loves to play basketball, from his high school team to random games at the park he loves the sport. |
