Write the Future: A Carnival of Words will honor the outstanding writers Andrea Davis Pinkney (NYT Bestselling, award winning author of Let it Shine: Stories of Black Women Freedom Fighters and Duke Ellington) and Mahogany L. Browne (Playwright, organizer, educator, and renowned author of Black Girl Magic and Woke: A Young Poet’s Call to Justice).
