What is your favorite thing you’ve written recently? Tell us a bit about it!

Last year I wrote a story about a unicorn who got lost in the woods. She found some animal friends who came up to her and gave her some food and let her live with them. There’s more than that, I’m pretty sure, I think it was raining too and she wanted to sleep. 

What are three words you would use to describe 826NYC?

Superhero writing program!

What advice would you give someone writing for the first time?

Oh my! I would tell them to put some spaces in between their words. They should keep capital letters at the beginning. Lowercase you can do anytime. You should try to make your sentences make sense and when you’re finished with something you can reread it in your head, whisper it, and then read it out loud.
